Terms of Service

By placing a booking with HIRE BNE, you agree to the following terms of service. These terms apply to all hires made through our website, social media, or in person.

Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older to hire from HIRE BNE. If under 18, a parent or legal guardian must book on your behalf and reside at the same address.

Bookings & Payments

• Garments are not secured until full payment is received.
• We do not accept deposits or partial payments.
• Cash payments are accepted for in-person hires.

Hire Duration

• Hire duration is typically 4 days unless agreed otherwise.
• Late returns will incur a $15 per day fee unless otherwise communicated and approved.

Try-Ons

• A $10 non-refundable try-on fee applies and is redeemable if a booking is made within 48 hours of the appointment.
• Try-ons do not hold or reserve any item.
• Send specific garment requests before your try-on to confirm availability.

Care & Use

• All items must be returned in the same condition they were hired.
• Do not attempt to clean, alter, or repair any garment.
• Damage or staining may result in repair charges or the full RRP being charged. In that case, you may keep the item.

Returns & Refunds

• No refunds for change of mind, incorrect sizing, event cancellations, or late deliveries by Australia Post.
• Store credit may be offered at our discretion (minus a $30 cancellation fee) if returned unworn and on time.

Shipping & Delays

• For postal hires, we recommend booking by Tuesday 4PM to ensure weekend arrival.
• HIRE BNE is not responsible for Australia Post delays.

Liability

• HIRE BNE is not responsible for any direct or indirect loss, damage, or injury caused by wearing or using our garments.
• You are liable for any loss or damage that occurs during the hire period.
