Terms & Conditions
By placing a booking with HIRE BNE, you acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions.
Garment Care
- Return all garments in the same condition as received.
- Avoid stains from makeup, fake tan, perfume, food, or drinks.
- Do not wash, dry-clean, alter, or attempt repairs yourself.
- Severe damage may incur a charge for the full RRP, and the item will become yours to keep.
Damage Policy
- Contact us immediately if damage occurs during your hire period.
- Repair or dry cleaning costs may apply.
- If irreparable, you will be charged the full RRP in addition to the hire fee.
Shipping & Delivery
- Order before 3PM Wednesday to receive your item in time for the weekend.
- We are not responsible for postal delays caused by Australia Post.
Local Pick-Up
- Pick-up is by appointment only.
- We'll notify you when your item is ready for collection and provide you with pick up instructions. Please reach out if you haven’t heard from us 24 hours before your pick up date.
Refunds & Cancellations
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, event cancellations, date changes, sizing issues, or incorrect bookings.
In certain cases, store credit may be offered minus a $30 cancellation fee, if your return is made within 24 hours via express post or drop-off.
Returns Policy
Postal Returns
- Must be posted via Express Post by 5PM the next business day after your event.
- Late returns incur a $15 per day fee.
Pick-Up Returns
- Must be dropped off by 5PM the next business day.
- Late returns incur a $15 per day fee.
Incorrect or Late Returns
- Ensure returns are on time, to the correct address, and via express post only (not standard post).
- Failure to meet return requirements may result in extra fees of $15 per day late.
- If a late return causes another booking to be missed, you are liable for the lost hire fee.
Try-On Appointments
- A non-refundable $15 fee secures your appointment.
- If you book a garment within 72 hours, the fee is credited to your hire.
- Try-ons do not guarantee item availability — please message us with your preferred styles and sizes beforehand.
Payments
- Bookings are only confirmed once full payment is received via our website.
- No partial payments or holds.
- Cash is accepted for in-person bookings. Please message us beforehand if you are planning to pay with cash.
